Sienabena, LLC. represents both the problem and the solution in diaper blowout prevention. After the birth of our second child, Siena, we became experts in both the changing and cleaning of messy kids and ineffective diapers. Ruining outfit after outfit, we were tired of constantly changing and cleaning our baby, as well as her clothes. We had enough, and knew there had to be a better way.
With our daughter's baptism quickly approaching, we hoped to tackle the problem before it was too late. So, we tested several homemade solutions and settled on one for the big day. Siena gave it her all but our makeshift product was able to keep everything in its place, and her white dress spotless. After a successful and blowout-free day, we knew what we had to do - It was our duty to develop a permanent solution that other parents could count on to help eliminate messy situations.
I'm Megan, dental sales rep turned stay-at-home mom and head of product development. I came up with the original idea and design for BabyBackups. My husband/engineer/tinkerer/chief invention officer, Steve, took the original design, revised, tested, and eventually developed a patented diaper blowout solution that wouldn't just help reduce the risk of blowouts, but eliminate them entirely.
We named the company after our daughter since she was our (second) inspiration for starting this venture. Sienabena, LLC was born with the goal of helping frustrated parents just like us.
